  • $\begingroup$ @RobJeffries . Okay but I don't know which one to use, actually, the issue is about astrophysics/cosmology but given the fact that I can't get answer on physics exchange, I have put it here in the hope to get help. What do you advise me to do ? $\endgroup$

  • $\begingroup$ uhm. Do I get that right, that you have an expression for the volume of up to a certain redshift, but you want to get the volume between two redshifts? What's wrong with just calculating the difference? $\endgroup$ Commented Dec 21, 2021 at 15:47
