The urban rail transit (URT) system attracts many commuters with its punctuality and convenience. However, it is vulnerable to disruptions caused by factors like extreme weather and temporary equipment failures, which greatly impact passengers' journeys and diminish the system's service quality. In this study, we propose targeted travel guidance for passengers at different space-time locations by devising passenger rescheduling strategies during disruptions. This guidance not only offers insights into route changes but also provides practical recommendations for delaying departure times when required. We present a novel three-feature four-group passenger classification principle, integrating temporal, spatial, and spatio-temporal features to classify passengers in disrupted URT networks. This approach results in the creation of four distinct solution spaces based on passenger groups. A mixed integer programming model is built based on individual level considering the First-in-First-out (FIFO) rule in oversaturated networks. Additionally, we present a two-stage solution approach for handling the complex issues in large-scale networks. Experimental results from both small-scale artificial networks and the real-world Beijing URT network validate the efficacy of our proposed passenger rescheduling strategies in mitigating disruptions. Specifically, when compared to scenarios with no travel guidance during disruptions, our strategies achieve a substantial reduction in total passenger travel time by 29.7% and 50.9% respectively, underscoring the effectiveness in managing unexpected disruptions.

While functional materials with both light transmitting and electromagnetic shielding are highly desirable, only very few of them meet the stringent electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding criteria for optoelectronic systems. Here, a design strategy of shorted micro-waveguides (SMWs) array to decouple the light transmission and EMI shielding is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. The array of SMWs, consisting of cut-off metallic micro-waveguides and shorting indium tin oxide (ITO) continuous conductive film, exhibits high optical transmittance of 90.4% and superior EMI shielding effectiveness of 62.2 dB on average over ultra-wide frequency spectrum (0.2-1.3 GHz & 1.7-18 GHz). Compared to previously reported works, an improvement of 19 dB in average shielding effectiveness has been achieved under the same level of light transmission, and the shielding frequency spectrum has been significantly expanded. The working principle has been explained in depth and factors influencing the performance have been investigated for design optimization.

An arbitrary unknown quantum state cannot be precisely measured or perfectly replicated. However, quantum teleportation allows faithful transfer of unknown quantum states from one object to another over long distance, without physical travelling of the object itself. Long-distance teleportation has been recognized as a fundamental element in protocols such as large-scale quantum networks and distributed quantum computation. However, the previous teleportation experiments between distant locations were limited to a distance on the order of 100 kilometers, due to photon loss in optical fibres or terrestrial free-space channels. An outstanding open challenge for a global-scale "quantum internet" is to significantly extend the range for teleportation. A promising solution to this problem is exploiting satellite platform and space-based link, which can conveniently connect two remote points on the Earth with greatly reduced channel loss because most of the photons' propagation path is in empty space. Here, we report the first quantum teleportation of independent single-photon qubits from a ground observatory to a low Earth orbit satellite - through an up-link channel - with a distance up to 1400 km. To optimize the link efficiency and overcome the atmospheric turbulence in the up-link, a series of techniques are developed, including a compact ultra-bright source of multi-photon entanglement, narrow beam divergence, high-bandwidth and high-accuracy acquiring, pointing, and tracking (APT). We demonstrate successful quantum teleportation for six input states in mutually unbiased bases with an average fidelity of 0.80+/-0.01, well above the classical limit. This work establishes the first ground-to-satellite up-link for faithful and ultra-long-distance quantum teleportation, an essential step toward global-scale quantum internet.

In order to investigate the longitudinal beam dynamics during the adiabatic capture and acceleration processes of the CRing in HIAF project, a simulation of both processes above is carried out with $U^{34+}$ ions. The ions will be captured into a bucket adiabatically and accelerated from 800 MeV/u to 1130 MeV/u . Simulation of these processes by tracking appropriate distributions with the longitudinal beam dynamics code ESME has been used to find optimum parameters such as RF phase, RF voltage and RF frequency etc. An enhanced capture and acceleration efficiency can be gotten from the simulation results, with the optimized RF voltage and RF phase program.

Significant beam loss caused by the charge exchange processes and ions impact induced outgassing play a crucial role in the limitation of the maximum number of accumulated heavy ions during the high intensity operation in the accelerators. With the aim to control beam loss due to charge exchange processes and to confine the generated desorption gas, the tracking of the loss positions and installing the absorber blocks with low-desorption rate material at appropriate locations in the CSRm ring will be taken. The loss simulation of U ions having lost an electron will be presented in this report and the calculation of the collimation efficiency of the CSRm ring will be continued in the future.
