Fine 1950's film short that uses silhouette animation to tell the Christmas story. Made by legendary German animator Lotte Reiniger who was responsible for the 1926 film The Adventures Of Prince Achmed; considered by some as the first feature length animated film.

Best Nativity cartoon ever. I love the shadow animation.

Something kinda creepy about it.
The shadow animation is really neat. I wish they still did things like it. I remember this being on the end of one of the tapes I used to have. I can always remember falling asleep before it was almost over. To me, an excellent retelling of the birth of jesus.

Try the MPEG4 version
The film is well produced, although it takes some liberties with the biblical account.
@pqulear: The 512Kb MPEG4 version of this video should work with iMovie. Unfortunately, if you created a project in iMovie HD, it won't open in iMovie '11.
