Johnstown Flood
Excellent narration and gripping and sad story. My dogs are enjoying the lengthy walks I take enjoying the stories.
Unresponsive App
When starting a podcast or trying to pause it (as well as then play again) the app is almost non responsive to the touch of the player interface. Really frustrating. So much so that the $55 I’ve just formed out for plus is basically money down the drain as I won’t be continuing to use the app. Very disappointed.
UPDATE: all actions are very unresponsive and lagging so much so that it makes the app unusable.
Also, no option to create playlists from your download library.
Crashing, battery hog, nothing good
Title says it. Constant crashing, putting the app in the background often makes it refresh, and it consumes (in the background!!) more battery than any sound-producing app has the right to. I can run Audible or Music or Apple Podcasts for hours on only a few percent, but this app chews through a full charge in about two hours. I only use it because Wondery won’t let me access my subscription through the Apple Podcast app.
