Description

Watch Tracker is a revolutionary app for tracking the accuracy of a wristwatch. It's dramatically easier and more accurate than any previous method.

Just tap a button when the time on your watch matches the time displayed by the app, and Watch Tracker does the rest. It synchronizes with an atomic clock, measures and records the difference, and displays graphs of all the data points you've recorded.

- Uses best-fit analysis to accurately calculate how many seconds your watch gains or loses per day
- Displays graphs of rates and variance
- Can track multiple watches simultaneously
- Saves data in CSV files that can be opened with any spreadsheet software

Watch Tracker is made by the developer of tChess (the chess app that was featured in Apple's "Learn" commercial for the iPad) and Learn Chess (the Apple Staff Favorite e-book).

What’s New

Version 1.2.3

- The "Atomic clock" menu now displays the day and date
- Fixed a discoloration in the title bar that occurred during menu transitions
- Removed the "Export graph" feature, since the same thing can be accomplished by taking screen shots of the "Graphs" menu

Brilliant app! Extremely useful and very easy to use.

A brilliant app that is very easy to use, and extremely useful, if you want to track how much time your watches are gaining or losing. You can take photos of your watches and input as much detail as you like about each individual watch. It’s perfect because it not only accurately tracks the time difference, but you can choose and set the times that you want, and can do it as often as you like. Obviously the longer you use it, the more detailed picture you get as to how your watch is performing, especially if you write detailed notes. You can sync it to the atomic clock whenever you like, and it will tell you how accurate it is compared to the atomic clock. It also displays the time difference of the Apple clock compared to the atomic clock. There is only one thing I wish I could have changed concerning this app, and that is, that I wish I had found it a lot sooner. If you like knowing the accuracy of your watches, then this app is for you. It has a very high score of 4.8 which reflects how highly rated this app is by the vast majority. Definitely worth the price and definitely worth a 5 star rating!

Brilliant application for both mechanical and quartz watches

Prior to this app I had been using an Excel spreadsheet that was not very convenient. This app makes tracking in particular mechanical watches performance easy. I track my mechanical watches on a monthly basis (resetting at the start of each month), perhaps a useful upgrade would be the ability to archive the timing runs allowing data from maybe a few years ago to be pulled back for comparison of the graphical and numerical performance data as displayed in the app.

Excellent

A simple design with useful features to track the accuracy of my watch. I love that you can take a photo, plot the variance over time and record details about the watch's movement in notes. I especially appreciate that no data is collected by the app for advertising etc. and that it does what it sets out to do very well without a load of extras getting in the way. Many thanks to the developer.
