Virago: Herstory 4+

I think the game is really good, and it feels like a lot of heart was put into it. My only issue is difficulties with the mechanics, I’m at episode six as of this review and it seems like it has an interesting concept, but it doesn’t seem to work properly, the game says to stay with the tall woman to win, but Willow always seems to pass out, whether I stay directly next to the woman, stay behind or run ahead, or she stays awake but passes out as I reach the bus stop. I’m going back to working on it now, but play testing it for bugs might be a good idea, overall it’s a really good game, though!

Loved the message it was conveying and hardships a lot of young girls face regularly but the game itself was confusing

What I mean by that is that it was hard to understand where to go sometimes - to be honest I only knew because I’ve been following this on tiktok
And sometimes I had no idea what I was doing like when there was a guy lying on the ground on one of the levels it kept killing me for no reason which was a bit annoying

Also the willows anxiety level was also annoying as spikes would randomly pop out of the ground right as I was walking on it giving me no time to react whatsoever which just led to me doing the same part multiple times

Another thing I found weird was that we had to jump over objects while to people chasing us just walks through them? It was confusing to understand why but I get it was to just probably make the level harder

Overall it was a good game concept and idea wise but playing it was a bit of a let down
