Great off line reference
Can't do without it off line in Spain. So useful to learn a new word on the go.
Excellent value for money
This is a fantastic app. IT IS NOT EXPENSIVE for what you get. Don’t listen those who can’t even spell “too” let alone “demasiado”.
This is a full-size complete dictionary, which would normally cost £20-£30, plus complete verb tables, which would normally be about £10. If you're looking for a phrase book because you want to ask for "una cerveza", this isn't for you, but if you're serious about learning Spanish, here's what you need. You won't just save a packet but loads of time too.
It takes just seconds to look things up - far quicker than thumbing through a conventional dictionary or verb book. What’s more, you're carrying something the size of a toaster with you wherever you go in your smart, featherweight, pocketsize iPhone.
I've just come back from Spain, and this nifty app made a world of difference - I was able to look up anything, no matter where I was at any time of the day or night, because I always had my phone with me.
The interface on this is fantastic. Results for your query are returned as links which allow you to jump straight to verb tables or further definitions. The dictionary even suggests correct entries if you misspell something, which is great if something's on the tip of your tongue.
Online translation sites (even if you could get online all the time) fail to spot nuance. If you think online translation sites are often lacking (as I do) then this may be just what you’ve been looking for.
Excellent dictionary
Very useful. Not only gives you English and Spanish verbs but also numbers. Just type in number in figures and it will tell you the Spanish or English. Extremely useful declensions of all the tenses of the verbs. When you type in word it will also suggest the word you are looking for which is similar to what you typed. Best of all works without Internet or 3G connection
Muy útil. No sólo le da verbos en inglés y español, sino también números. Sólo tienes que escribir el número en cifras y le dirá el español o Inglés. Declinaciones muy útil de todos los tiempos de los verbos. Cuando se escribe en palabras sino que también sugiere la palabra que busca, que es similar a lo que ha escrito. Lo mejor de todas las obras sin Internet o conexión 3G
