lukerosa angst makes me feel alive

the amount of times i have cried like a little baby because of lukerosa. all i have to do is think about them.

[mild story spoilers ahead. only for the beginning bit though]

childhood friends who drifted apart and reunite unexpectedly. pent up feelings. yearning. the sense of familiarity that is still present yet simultaneously the unequivocal distance that comes with being apart for so long. they’re at two completely different points in their lives from when they last saw each other. the yearning never stops.

i swear i will lock those two in a room until they talk about their feelings.

also, this is more anecdotal than anything, but luke is always good to me when i pull for any of his cards (except for the firefighter one but we do not talk about that). i get double SSR pulls with him. it’s insane. i got his 3rd anniversary SSS card too.

i like artem as well, don’t get me wrong. he is exactly my type (dark hair, stoic but really a sweetheart) but luke stole my heart. all four LIs are very archetypal otome love interests (not necessarily a bad thing, just a trope. every piece of media has tropes, that’s just the nature of creativity). personally i don’t feel strongly about vyn or marius but that’s solely because they’re not my type. like i’ll love a rich man any day of the week but i’m sorry marius, my only question is: is your dad single?

Great game but

ToT is probably one of the nicest, most polished mobile otome games out there, the designs are beautiful and slick, the cast of VA is great, the UI is a pleasure to use. But once you’ve maxed the core otome/main story content, it really is just grinding, grinding, grinding. When you’ve maxed the story and are waiting for new chapters to arrive (which after 4 months of playing, nothing new), you only have the cards to upgrade if you want some romance content, and ToT being a gâcha game, you’ll only get new cards/stories by pulling cards. Even as a f2p, light spender you can get by fine with all the content available, but after probably 70 or 80 pulls, I’ve been getting only dupes of cards I already had, and sometimes even maxed ! It’s getting really frustrating because the events are also running out of breath, the contents is just investigation/grinding with little to no romance, and I’m considering stopping playing the game because it’s just getting boring. And while im saying that, I also play Honkai and Genshin so Im used to be patient and play filler events and grind in between important updates. My main point is, I started playing because ToT was supposed to be an otome with an investigation twist and I fell like im grinding on a pretty investigation game. More romance MHY please !

It’s a great game but….

I just want to start off with the positives of this game ! It’s beautifully done, the art,background,music etc!
I love how the debates are quick and easy and upgrading cards are easy too , normally I’m never a fan of the gacha /collect card type but this game is an exception 🤣
Each characters personalities fit them so well as well as looks ! The plot runs so smoothly and I can’t get enough !
One thing that is bothering me though when I first downloaded the game it was always loading quick, never buffered or crashed then around when I reached level 10 (I’m now 14) it always crashes , shuts down the game or even just goes black - at first it would shut down once or twice so after I just went on and kept playing but now it won’t even give me the chance to play anything as soon as I log in it kicks me out, crashes and buffers 😞😭 sadly if this keeps happening I’m gonna have to stop playing please mihoyo fix this issue ! 💖
