Superstar Football Manager 4+

Loving the game, one suggestion would be to allow release of players rather than waiting for a bid. Now in my 3rd season and still have players rated at 3 or 4 which I can’t shift. Contracts expire eventually but it would be nice to be able to just get rid.

Edit: Still enjoying the game but after playing a few seasons I have some criticisms/suggestions.

1) Players are rated up to 99 stars, but it seems to win or get promoted from a league you need players that are ranked at least 5 stars higher, on average, than the next best team in the league. If you have players at a similar level you find yourself at the bottom of the table, scrapping it out with teams with much lower rated players.

2) At the moment I have a manager rating of 54, which means I can only buy players rated at 54 or below. However, to stand any chance of getting out of the league I need players ranked at least 60. Players do improve, but not quickly enough despite having great training facilities.

3) Scouts can only tell you a player’s potential once you have bought them. It would be useful to know the potential of a player (i.e. what scouts are meant to do) before buying them.

4) Training courses are too long, 92 weeks to get 250 XP is a bit tedious.

5) It’s frustrating to see teams with much worse players and facilities consistently doing much better than you. Changing tactics seems to make little or no difference.

I get sacked for no reason
The season before I lost several games in a row but still finished above expected prediction by owner. The confidence in me carries over to the next year so when I lost to the best team in the league (they were over 10 better) in the first game I was sacked that is very disappointing and seems to often way too often.
Another is that players never get sold enough, upon joining a new tram I wanted to get rid of the bad/old players but they never got bought and left when their contracts run out this takes up wages and is frustrating as you don’t have enough money to increase the wage and desperately need new players.

Lastly the fact that u are limited at your rank is annoying other managers in the league are a lower rank then what they’re managing at e.g they are rated 70 club is 78. We should be allowed to purchase and apply for players and jobs at least within a maximum 5 rating higher so a rated 80 manager can manage potentially a 85 team. Along with that the closer the rating of the club the less chance you get the job this is frustrating as well as you have to go from a club that’s 80 rated and only get the job for a 70 rated club when your rating is 80 this limits the ability to reach to the top until your eventual retirement.

The game is absolutely brilliant if you want to grow as a manager and become better and more experienced the only problem is after around 3 seasons at the start you then have to wait 6 hours to play the next season and then wait 6 hours to play the next. This is unless you pay for the full game I guess which costs around 99p however that is like the only improvement in the full game so it’s probably not worth it. But for a free game this is phenomenal.
