Description
The mymobility® App with Apple Watch is your surgical journey companion, linking you to your surgeon and care team before and after certain types of surgery, injury or trauma. With step by step instructions and daily to-do lists, mymobility with Apple Watch supports your surgical preparation and recovery. Education, surveys, and exercises selected by your surgeon are accessed through mymobility on your iPhone with progress status provided by mymobility on your Apple Watch. mymobility reads users’ daily steps, floors, and heart rate data from HealthKit for clinical reporting. mymobility on your Apple Watch will also provide reminders when you have new activities to complete, plus track your recovery through step and floor counts and heart rate metrics to help you and your surgeon track your functional progress throughout your recovery. To use the mymobility App, you must be enrolled by a participating health care provider.

Made my efforts feel worthless
When I got the app from the hospital I downloaded it. Then the first few days I checked it and realised what I needed to do. I have put in so much work into my recovery and exercise! When I attended the physio they were please with my progress and said I was doing great! I had a total left knee replacement and I am into my 11th day and working as hard as I can.
But when I go into compare my progress I am right down as very low and for someone trying his best it’s very discouraging.
The app doesn’t tell you how much you should be walking and it’s not clear about when to do your exercises. In this stage of recovery you need good strong positive feedback and this app is soul destroying
Does not work
Tried to active account, mobile phone number and date of birth are correct. Goes to confirm you identify but did not send code through. I hit the ‘Try again’ button about 10 times over a few hour and still did not come through. Is this more NHS money wasted?
