Excellent practice
All I would say to improve it is to add a mode to test your knowledge, i.e. A mode to write the hiragana in without the background template to see if you get it right.
Adverts block table
The tables are useful and well laid out but every couple of seconds a full page advert will load which completely blocks you from reading the tables rendering them useless.
