I hardly ever you my phone, any excuse not to, so can imagine how terrified I was even trying. It was such an easy process though,as you are helped every step of the way. A 5 year old could do it & I am a person of retirement age. I will admit the 1st selfie I took was pretty shocking. I looked like I had been dug up. So easy as you are asked if you wish to delete and try again( can do so as many times as you like until happy) The whole process takes less than 5 mins.

The app seems overall very convenient, however I had some issues that made my identification review super frustrating.
-You can only scan a single page which is very inconvenient if you have statements that have more pages; I had to print multiple pages in one sheet which resulted in the text being hardly legible.
-the photos taken for some reason really dropped the quality, lots of photos were unfocused and i doubt this was an issue with my phone as my normal camera works better
-the nfc for passports sound very convenient but my passport does not have this feature. I wish it was possible to skip this

It’s brilliant that the app can scan the NFC chip in a passport to verify identity, but I find it incredible that it can’t allow document uploads and only accepts scans of printed documents! This feels like a huge oversight in a digital age.

In addition, the document scanner feature displays an area to photo, but the captured image is much larger and it’s unclear whether this is by design or you’re supposed to capture a much closer image than initially suggested.

I was also advised that it’s very easy to accidentally skip or prematurely confirm when not all documents have been uploaded. It would be great to change this so users can’t submit without all the documents required.
