Athletics Mania: Track & Field 12+

It looks like an amazing game from what I’ve played of it and I’m sure that the rest of the game is as good as I think, however it’s very buggy. I’m currently stuck on my first race, trying to actually press the button to start it, however whenever I do, the game just crashes. Even when I try not to follow the objective and do something else it still crashes, every time. I can’t progress any further into the game without it crashing. But it looks like it has a lot of potential if these bugs hopefully get fixed.

Ok first up I have given this game a solid month of playing and it is a decent game once you put aside all the gremlins in it BUT they are getting worse and not better.

There is no improvements in the NUMEROUS BUGS as they rush out chapters and challenges to get people for ding HUGE sums to try and upgrade equipment. I have gone from a level 100 in training my athlete for the long jump with a best distance of 6.47 to a level 160 using lots of hard earned TP to improve to 6.57. The world record is 8m 95. That’s maybe a 1000 levels I need to increase to get close to 8metres.

But the bugs and the idiotic layout means there are several buttons you cannot click on as they’re even half off screen or covered by other buttons and you spend energy or gems when you have zero intention too but the developers don’t care.

THIS GAME IS UNPLAYABLE and I’ve contacted Apple who have reimbursed me for the gems I bought as they agree this game isn’t good enough to be on the App Store but yet it still is. SHAMEFUL they take money off you, if this was a car you bought the wipers wouldn’t work the horn would sound whenever it wanted and it wouldn’t start between 9am and 12pm every 3rd day. Stop doing updates on stupid challenges and fix the game!!!! That’s what we really want is a playable game that when you’re in a sprint race the gun doesn’t sound half way down the track when you’ve had to race the first half in silence.

The game itself is a basic track and field game that allows you to develop your character and become better through practice and competitions, the concept is good and entertaining to be able to beat your personal bests and compete against others.
Where this game lets itself down is the terrible loading times and constant freezing after every other event you do the app freezes and you have to close it and reopen, the only reason I have not deleted it is because it fortunately saves your data before freezing so at least you don’t have to do the competition again.
If the game developers can fix the bugs it could be a promising game until then the crashing makes it struggle to 3 stars at best
