The ads are a nightmare
I loved the game both 1 and 2, the second being more challenging and if you concentrate and have patience there is no need for hints. The massive problem are the ads! The game was free to download and I had no way to pay for for an ads free version in the app. I would have happily paid to remove the ads that ruined the whole experience of immersing oneself in the mood of the game.
Hint system is awful and can’t mute the screaming
After a few minutes of playing and a few adds I decided to pay to remove them so I could properly enjoy the game. Unfortunately there is no bundle option to remove adds and unlock hints. You have to use in app purchase again for coins to use on hints or watch 30 second advert to get coins. I begrudgingly watched the advert as I didn’t want to pay for coins after already paying once. When the advert finally finished and I got a hint it was to an item I’d already found so was utterly useless.
Additionally, despite muting the music and sounds, random noises still played like a scream which scared the £&@/ out of me and several members of my family who happened to be in the same room. Please make sure the sound off means OFF. I think having my phone on silent has stops any residual noises but I’m not 100% sure because a few minutes into gameplay, I’m stuck and don’t want to watch anymore adverts to get a useless hint so can’t say if the noises will stop. Wish I hadn’t bothered paying to remove ads as it’s a complete waste of time 🙄

A good puzzler! Can tell it’s been inspired by rusty lake and like the previous reviewer says, it’s not as smooth as that series but overall I couldn’t put it down and feel a bit lost now I’ve finished! It gets 10/10 from me. All I’ll say is…. And don’t read on if you don’t want a (slight) spoiler…..
Hidden objects are very hidden. Really look at objects to see if they are slightly misshapen. A cog really got away from me because of this!
