001 Taxis‪.‬ 4+

For some reason, the owners of 001 Taxis decided to ditch a perfectly good app and replace it with one that’s truly appalling. It doesn’t allow you to set your starting point but simply assumes you always want to go from home, it doesn’t allow you to book in advance, it offers you the chance to phone the driver and then puts you through to their call centre where you have to listen to a recorded message for a couple of minutes before you can actually speak to anyone, and these are just some of the features of this dreadful app. When I complained to one of the drivers about it he said they were all in despair about it as well. I don’t know why anyone would decide to shoot their own company in the foot like this, but I’ve had enough of them and am decamping to Royal taxis from now onwards.

This app is an example case of awful user experience, they should use it in design school to teach how not to do things. The only reason I'm using this is because the Oxford taxi Mafia is blocking Uber in the city. We customers are stuck with this poor excuse of an program.
Every time you move the screen, it changed the start location of the journey, instead of the destination. When you exit the app or the screen goes off, you have to start again from scratch entering the journey. The pickup and taxi location is super vague, which means the every time the app says "your driver has arrived" he's actually miles away. The list goes on. 001: just ditch this garbage and start from scratch!

We pre booked a taxi in advance for new years. Taxi was an hour late so called the company and was informed our driver would be 10 mins away, only to get a text my booking was cancelled. We the proceeded to call up which we were ignored. Only got someone to pick up when calling with a different number. They had no explanation on why the had cancelled a pre booked journey. Was very rude and blunt. We had children and was stood outside for over 2 hours at night. This service is disgusting we shall not be using again and I advise other people do the same!
