I've been looking for an electric BBQ for some time as we don't want to light the charcoal for just 2 of us and did not want to go down the gas route. Finally plumped for the Ninja and am in no way disappointed. Very easy to set up and learn how to use. Clear instructions and a starter recipe book.
First attempt at chicken wings was an absolute triumph. Very crispy on the outside, perfectly moist on the inside. You simply cannot go wrong. The cooker does it all for you, ignites fro the smoker, preheats for the cook, tells you when to flip the food and when it is done.
For additional details, there is a temperature probe. We are planning to cook a roast joint and like our beef rare, so this will definitely allow for a controlled cook and not over cook the meat.

Temperature probe is brilliant
I felt I needed to write a review because one other reviewer wrote incorrect information about cooking temperature, claiming the probe doesn't work at a high enough value.The probe works up to 80 degrees Centigrade. The government's Food Standards Agency recommend 70C for two minutes as the correct temperature for meat. The Ninja price use guide also recommend up to 70C for well done meat.The reviewer who said 95 was necessary is plain wrong.I love this smoker. It makes brisket and pulled pork cooked to perfection, absolutely delicious. I follow American style cooking techniques with meat rubs that make sensational results.
