نبذة عنا
Dubai Municipality Dubai Municipality was founded in 1954 commencing its activities with a cadre of seven employees undertaking simple tasks to keep the city clean. The first decree establishing the Municipality was issued on February 28, 1957, whereby 23 municipal council members were appointed from the elders of the country and traders. It gave the Municipality specific powers, the most important of which was to take care of health and architectural affairs of the city as well as to organize construction and beautification of the city and provide constructive suggestions to the government. Dubai Municipality has developed significantly since then, evolving over the years and taking on multiple tasks. The Municipality grew in line with the expansion of the Emirate of Dubai, currently it has 11,000 employees working in 34 departments. It is one of the largest governmental institutions in terms of services rendered and projects executed. The municipality is a leading driver of growth and evolution of the Emirate of Dubai. بلدية دبي تأسست نواة بلدية دبي في عام 1954 مبتدئة أعمالها بكادر لم يتجاوز سبعة موظفين وبمهام بسيطة في نظافة المدينة. أول مرسوم صدر بإنشاء البلدية كان في 28 فبراير 1957 وبموجبه تم تعيين أعيان البلد وتجارها أعضاءً في المجلس البلدي وكان عددهم ثلاثة وعشرين عضواً، وأعطيت له صلاحيات محدودة أهمها رعاية شؤون المدينة الصحية والعمرانية والعمل على تنظيم البناء وتجميل المدينة وتقديم المقترحات البناءة للحكومة. مرت بلدية دبي بمجموعة من المراحل التطورية خلال سنوات العمل فيها وواصلت البلدية تطورها ونموها, و تجاوز عدد العاملين بها 11 ألف موظف وعامل يعملون في 34 إدارة وتعتبر بلدية دبي من أكبر المؤسسات الحكومية من حيث الخدمات التي تقدمها والمشروعات والأعمال التي تقوم بها، لهذا تعد البلدية المؤسسة الرائدة والمحركة لنمو إمارة دبي وتطورها.

بمناسبة #اليوم_العالمي_لمهارات_الشباب نظّم مجلس شباب #بلدية_دبي فعالية تهدف إلى تسليط الضوء على دور الشباب في مجالات عمل البلدية وإبراز مهاراتهم ومواهبهم وتخصصاتهم العلمية النادرة. واستضافت الفعالية أكثر من 45 شاباً من مختلف الجهات ومن بينها الهيئة الاتحادية للشباب، كما استعرضت مجموعة من الورش لدعم وتمكين الشباب ومناقشة مشاريع ابتكارية متنوّعة منها ورشتي "المنصة الاستثمارية" و"جيوهب ودعم الشباب". On the occasion of #WorldYouthSkillsDay, the #DubaiMunicipality Youth Council organised an event aimed at highlighting the role of youth in the municipality's fields of work and showcasing their skills, talents, and rare scientific specialisations. The event hosted more than 45 young individuals from various entities, including the Federal Youth Authority. It also featured a series of workshops to support and empower youth, discussing various innovative projects, including the ‘Investment Platform’ and ‘GeoHub and Youth Support’ workshops.
