Basically its probably based on something to do with the institute not being sort of "auto-recognized" by the arXiv moderators/subject moderators. Maybe try a different subject tag, or speak to the head of the institute/department and ask what they think?– apgCommented Apr 23, 2023 at 13:40

Does your research institute have an option of posting your preprint on their site? I know, some math institutes do. Other than that, send the pdf file of your preprint to people who you think should be interested in it and submit your paper to a journal/conference proceedings, whatever appropriate.– Moishe KohanCommented Apr 23, 2023 at 14:57

A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
Use tags that describe what your question is about, not what it merely relates to. For example almost every question on this site is eventually related to research, but only questions about performing research should be tagged research.
Use tags describing circumstances only if those circumstances are essential to your question. For example, if you have a question about citations that came up during writing a thesis but might as well have arisen during writing a paper, do not tag it with thesis.

- favor using existing popular tags
