"If I could base this review solely on the staff, I'd emphatically give another star. I have seen them work together through different shifts & were very compassionate and kind, especially speaking tenderly to difficult dementia patients & those with cognitive issues. Mom was discharged here from Oakland KP and I was very worried due to the reviews. Upon arriving, my worries escalated as this place is understaffed and in need of many basic upgrades. However, as stated before, the staff helped put my mind at ease. Family was rotating visits so mom was not alone everyday. It's difficult evaluating places like this because nobody wants to be here, but hard decisions have to sometimes be made. We are fortunate that mom had a short stay and is back home now."
