When some of our gutters started leaking, I reached out to a few contractors for quotes, somewhat warily. There's always a bit of hesitancy when reaching out to an unknown contractor, especially when the stakes are high. Depending on the time of year, identifying a trustworthy roofer, in particular, then getting them to accept your job can require persistence and months of lead time.

One of the contractors to reply and follow through with an estimate was Leon Brothers Roofing. After the estimator came to evaluate the project, Leon Brothers Roofing provided a written quote and contract. Although there was a bit of wait time to get on their calendar, it was worth the delay. When a slot became available, Leon Brothers Roofing contacted me to see if the date would work. The team arrived on schedule, was respectful of our property, contacted us as necessary for decisions and worked diligently. At the end of the day, the team cleaned up thoroughly and, just like that, our home had new gutters. Now that the rainy season has begun, we are enjoying our investment and can see the difference between the old and new gutters.

I hired Leon Brothers to install skylights in my home and they were excellent.
They came right away and provided me with an estimate and were on schedule.The work performed was stellar. They made a minor mistake on an interior wood trim that we had from our previous Skylight and they returned to fix it. I suggested simply adding a 1" trim piece over the existing trim to cover the mistake but they insisted on removing the existing trim for both skylights in the room and replaced both with new wood trim, then stained it to match. This was well above and beyond what was needed and they spent hours making sure it was just right. Also, while on my roof, they noticed a loose exterior trim piece and they repaired it. They also replaced some worn flashing from the old Skylight and did not charge extra for any of this additional work. I can't say enough about how impressed I am with this level of service.

We had an awesome experience working with Leon Brothers roofing. We got a few quotes on adding intake ventilation and a solar exhaust fan to our attic space so it didn't get so crazy hot up there. Leon Brothers came out in a timely manner, and gave us a very reasonably priced quote. We had also heard from our neighbor across the street that Leon Brothers had done a great job on their new roof, so we were sold. They completed the ventilation and solar fan installation in the time they said they would, and stuck to their estimate, and were very pleasant to work with. We will definitely call them when it's time to replace our roof.

I am grateful for the incredible service we received from Leon Brothers Roofing. We were facing an urgent situation with a leak on our roof, specifically around the solar fan they had installed a year ago. The issue ended up being with the QuietCool solar fan itself that was reported to be faulty by multiple customers. The team not only responded promptly but also demonstrated exceptional professionalism and expertise.

When we contacted Leon Brothers, they understood the urgency of the situation. The fact that they were willing to come out last minute and on short notice was a tremendous relief for us.

Upon arrival, Arcenio himself conducted a thorough inspection and went above and beyond by venturing into our attic, capturing a video of the leak in progress, and explaining the issue in detail.

His team showed up on time, well-prepared, and efficiently sealed the leak on our solar fan. Their professionalism, coupled with their friendly demeanor, made the entire experience stress-free. It was evident that they took pride in their work and were genuinely committed to resolving our issue.

I didn't have any work done by this company but I'll definitely work with them in the future. I wanted someone to inspect my old
roof and give me an estimate on any maintenance or repairs that should be done. I wanted this done before the rain. Arcenio came over within a couple hours of calling and told me I didn't need to do anything for a few years. The consultation was free. Definitely give them a call if you want an honest opinion.

The Leon Brothers did a roof repair in October, 2023. They were prompt, efficient, and courteous. Other companies had attempted to fix the leak and had failed. The repair has worked perfectly. They were also honest and didn't suggest lots of other fixes, which other companies did. I recommend them with enthusiasm.

Leon Brothers Roofing was the only company out of three others that gave me a quick (2 days) turn around time to get a roofing estimate. Of the other two, one took a week while the other one took 2 weeks just to obtain an estimate. I noticed too that Leon Brothers used the same quality materials touted by the two other roofers, however, each of the other two roofers quoted thousands of dollars more than Leon Roofers. All three of the roofing companies had stellar yelp reviews (mostly 5 stars). Yet, it seemed that Leon Brother's quote was more in line with what seemed reasonable and more than fair for a 1200 sq ft house plus a detached garage roof.

What really sealed the deal for us was how easy it was to get all our answers and concerns addressed by Arcenio, one of the Owners. We felt an immediate comfort and trust with Leon Brothers. They committed to completing the job in a 2 day period and had a team of workers from start to finish and did a beautiful job. We've gotten many compliments from neighbors on not only the job they did but also how clean they left the job site each day. So efficient.

I love finding family owned businesses that are Oakland based that also have stellar reviews. We experienced our first rains in September and had absolutely no problems. I would and do recommend Leon Brothers to anyone looking to re-roof their home. I believe you will not be disappointed!

Leon Brothers Roofing lives up to their reviews, from Arcenio, Josue and team to Alex, Office Manager, are great. Other reviews already give you an idea of the quality of work and professionalism. When deciding on who to hire to replace my roof, my one concern was is Leon Brothers a big enough shop and what if they are not in business for the warranty? Based on the service I received, I am not worried about that. I don't expect any issues but if there is, I feel comfortable Leon Brothers will answer the phone! Mahalo to the team!!
