Google in the U.S. has changed the mobile search to continuous scrolling.

While you can often find what you're looking for in the first few results, sometimes you want to keep looking. In fact, most people who want additional information tend to browse up to four pages of search results. With this update, people can now seamlessly do this, browsing through many different results, before needing to click the See more button.

I guess you can longer complain about being stuck on page 2.

I can't see this myself, but it'll be interesting to get reviews of how it looks, and, importantly, from a users perspective, whether it shows more organics.

This is an interesting statement from Google and suggests to me that "most people" can't find what they want. Are they after more organic?

Added, Google reminded people that it's continuous scroll is not "infinite scroll." It's up to four pages of SERPs.
Additionally,
Continuous scroll also does not change how position reporting works in Search Console. Positions reporting remains as if pages werent automatically loaded.

Glad to read that continuous scroll does not mean infinite scroll.

Ugghh... of all the Web UI innovations I've found unappealing in the last 27 years, infinite scrolling is one of my absolute least favourites.

Not worse than a "Wait... don't go!" popup as you move your mouse pointer up and to the left towards the back button (which presumably fell out of fashion as mobile browsers eclipsed desktop browsers), but right up there.
