If emojis are at all a microcosm of social progress, we've come a long way in the past year. From depictions of women in hard hats to a range of complexions to choose from, it feels as though most of us are finally represented in our primary mode of communication. And most importantly, there are tacos.

But Refinery29 reports that the updates haven't stopped there. Unicode, the company responsible for approving all emoji mockups, released a beta list of all existing emojis, including the 56 new ones set for a June 2017 launch.

If there's any accuracy to the list, you'll see some very nuanced emotions. Forget your basic happy or sad face: You've got a head exploding out of confusion, symbols covering a mouth in utter fury, and a "whoopsie-daisy" kind of face. And while we already knew there could be some gender-inclusive options, other emojis that have been out of the picture for way too long include a woman with a head scarf (presumably a hijab), a male version of Tinkerbell, and a woman climbing an actual wall (kind of out of breath just looking at her, TBH). There are new animals (zebra!), snacks (pretzel!), and flags galore. They'll give you life, but according to Refinery29, you may have to wait to update your iOS to 11.1 or 11.2, out in the fall, before you can dig in.
