Actually, I too ran into the same problem some days ago. I installed Win 7 on an HP notebook which came pre-installed with win 8.1, the same problem, no drivers including usb drivers. So I downloaded the necessary drivers to another pc, made a Live Linux usb device and booted from it, connected the pendrive containing the drivers and copied them to the hard disk. Then I restarted the system and boot into Windows 7 and installed the drivers. Everything is working fine now.– RogUECommented Oct 11, 2015 at 14:06

Mmh... I think my friend tried something like this (using dump files), but he nearly explained it to me (it was a bit above my level of understanding)... But thinking of it it seems pretty awesome 😊 But now I'm pretty happy with Windows 10 (Well, in fact, it's my brother's laptop 😶). I will still definitly investigate on this. Thanks!– lolgab123Commented Oct 12, 2015 at 2:08

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. windows-7), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
