Sep 14, 2023 at 23:11 comment added Daniel Kaplan "Sound settings" doesn't have any tabs when I open it. I'm not sure how to get from step 1 to 2. But, I see a window with an Enhancements tab if I go Sound Settings -> Under the Output section, click device properties (a link) -> on the right hand side, click Additional device properties (a link). That window has an Enhancement tab, but it doesn't have anything re: "Immediate Mode". Am I in the right place?

Mar 7, 2016 at 11:49 comment added mindplay.dk I don't have an Enhancements tab at all - yet I still have this problem. It seems really, really weird that an auto loudness feature would adjust the actual master volume setting? Surely this must be a bug. But apparently Windows 10 bug reports in this new error reporter thing are just going into a black hole somewhere - I've reported other serious bugs, and they don't respond, much less fix anything. Makes you feel like an idiot for paying money for Windows 10 :-(
