  • Thank you for LVM suggestion, I will look into it. Also, you are right 20GB is actually quite a bit more than required. On my laptop I get by just fine with 10GB for / and 10GB for /home with plenty of space left on both.

  • I'm happy to read this: I'm writing from an old Thinkpad T20 with a total of 12 Gb, with this partition scheme: -"sda1, Primary ext2 106,93 (boot)", - "sda2, Primary, 542,87 (swap)", -"sda3, ReiserFS 7871,60 (root)", - "sda4,ReiserFS 3545,10 (home)" and it's running really fine! I'll keep an eye on this post, to see what you will do...I'm really curious at this stage! :D Regards [sorry for the "nasty" formatting...]
