Thanks .. smc. I wonder. If I get a normal wireless router and a HDD with gigabit ethernet interface, I should have a decent setup with high speed. And then i just need to find out how to connect two routers together as in your question, isn't?– LaurenceCommented Jun 7, 2014 at 11:35

Theoretically - yes. But HDDs with gigabit ethernet are not so common and much more expensive then USB ones– Art GertnerCommented Jun 7, 2014 at 11:47

Thanks smc .. a bit more reading i just found out USB 3 is like 4 x faster than that of gigabit ethernet. I thought the other way round. I found few routers that come with USB 3 interface .. maybe i will get one of those. Thanks again.– LaurenceCommented Jun 7, 2014 at 11:52

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. windows-7), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
