Is that on one of my CD's I have? Or would I install that online?– Seth UrquhartCommented Jun 10, 2013 at 20:20

2If it didn't get installed with the OS, then you'll download it from Microsoft's website: microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=24– Darth AndroidCommented Jun 10, 2013 at 20:25

1I faced similar strange errors once while attempting to install Office 2010 on a fresh copy of XP. After I finished waiting a few hours for the OS to be up to date via Win Update the install went off without a hitch.– KaranCommented Jun 11, 2013 at 2:13

1@Seth Urquhart this function was added with the Sp2. So install the Sp3 and it will work: msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb432242%28v=vs.85%29.aspx– magicandre1981Commented Jun 11, 2013 at 4:17

2@SethUrquhart You should click the empty checkbox next to the answer to "Accept" it then, so that other users can easily see that it worked for you.– Darth AndroidCommented Jun 14, 2013 at 19:08

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. windows-7), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
