  • @Peter - If there was a way to do permanent damage to the C64 hardware with code, it would probably have been mentioned in the Raeto West "Definitive Guide" book - I don't remember anything, but that doesn't mean much. I'd place bets that there were ways to do permanent damage to the floppy drive, but I never owned one of those.
