Mar 1, 2011 at 19:30 | comment | added | Windos | Given it sounds like your remote PC doesn't have a version of Windows 7 which supports accepting remote connection you might consider VNC. Personally we use UltraVNC. Install the server on your remote PC, and the viewer on you laptop. | |
Mar 1, 2011 at 19:17 | comment | added | Windos | @goldenmean, it is available in 32 bit Win7 (this is what I am running) but only to certain version of it (You can connect to computers running Windows 7 Professional, Windows 7 Ultimate, or Windows 7 Enterprise) and not others (You can't use Remote Desktop Connection to connect to computers running Windows 7 Starter, Windows 7 Home Basic, or Windows 7 Home Premium.).
