I agree with @LPChip's answer, still ideally you'd use a different PC to create the Windows USB boot stick.– Joep van SteenCommented Aug 17, 2023 at 12:18

But wouldn't another pc, especially if you don't know the browsing habits of the user is, just be like the situation with infected pc? The other pc could have been infected previously before aswell. So the only possible way to create iso is from a new laptop or if you buy another windows copy then ?– IdontknowbasicsCommented Aug 17, 2023 at 14:03

Okay you win: destroy the infected PC physically. Burn it.– Joep van SteenCommented Aug 17, 2023 at 15:41

@JoepvanSteen well I would if I had the money but as a broke person, this saddly out of the question.– IdontknowbasicsCommented Aug 17, 2023 at 16:15

I was being sarcastic. The best virus is one that does not raise suspicion and that can not be detected. So then yes, a PC can be infected without you knowing. So then answer is, you can never trust any PC to create the USB boot stick. That seems to be what you want to argue and I can not argue against that.– Joep van SteenCommented Aug 17, 2023 at 22:45

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. windows-7), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
