It is advertised as a driver (gaomon.net/plus/…), but in reality it could be an application, idk. There was no option to install for All Users. It can be installed for each user, but the problem is that the installation is "forgotten" after logout, so for "John", the driver should be installed every single time he logs in. For the "Administartor", it suffices to be installed only once.– Pen palCommented Feb 15, 2023 at 20:56

It may help to log in as USER and then install the tablet as Administrator. That will normally work and I added that to my answer– anonCommented Feb 15, 2023 at 20:59

This is what I do all the time! With "John" logged in, there is no way to install the driver with normal privileges, so every single time it has to be installed as Administrator. As you mentioned, I probably have to contact the manufacturer.– Pen palCommented Feb 15, 2023 at 21:02

As I noted log a case with manufacturer support. The way outlined is how to install user software– anonCommented Feb 15, 2023 at 21:04

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. windows-7), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
