  • "Instantaneous" or "right now" something/sec doesn't make sense. You probably mean the values are calculated over some period of time that's shorter than 60 seconds. Commented Apr 3, 2022 at 19:52

    I'd guess that period is probably the time between the currently shown and the previously shown numbers on the Resource Monitor, something akin to Task Manager's "Update speed" (under "View"), where an interval of 0.5, 1, or 4 seconds can be selected.
