Jan 31, 2022 at 16:37 comment added Ramhound There is a very good chance. What is more likely is your KVM despite claiming it supports USB Hubs does not actually support it. There is actually nothing particular special about the Keyboard/Mouse other than the fact they are USB 2.0

Jan 31, 2022 at 16:16 comment added Ramhound KVM switches are not all created equal. So the answer to the question you linked to is accurate, but some KVMs, might not be applicable. What I notice about your KVM is it doesn't have a USB port, specific for a third USB device, that isn't a mouse or keyboard unlike most KVMs. Those ports are USB 2.0 what type of HUB are you using?
