KVM switches are not all created equal. So the answer to the question you linked to is accurate, but some KVMs, might not be applicable. What I notice about your KVM is it doesn't have a USB port, specific for a third USB device, that isn't a mouse or keyboard unlike most KVMs. Those ports are USB 2.0 what type of HUB are you using?– RamhoundCommented Jan 31, 2022 at 16:16

I've just checked, and one of the USB hubs I tried was an (unpowered) USB 2.0 hub :-(– Peter V. MørchCommented Jan 31, 2022 at 16:25

There is a very good chance. What is more likely is your KVM despite claiming it supports USB Hubs does not actually support it. There is actually nothing particular special about the Keyboard/Mouse other than the fact they are USB 2.0– RamhoundCommented Jan 31, 2022 at 16:37
