I'll try that. Fried mobo huh? Well, it's really quite old. It's still an fm2 mobo, so it's not that big of a deal if it's really died now. As for the overloaded, I've been using that PC for about a year now and I don't think it should have overloaded my PSU, I think 550w was enough for a PC that doesn't really need to power a GPU. How about the new GPU? What do you think is the case with that?

@rminaj I was just trying to cover all bases. It may just be a bum power supply, DOA. Even if it’ll run with no load, it might not be able actually run anywhere near its rated power.
