Aug 3, 2022 at 22:19 comment added awvalenti Mine is Strafe MK2, it's kinda 50-50. I have now only the main port connected. Works fine on Linux and Mac. On Windows, it works (almost) fine by setting iCUE to read input every 8ms (125hz) instead of the default 1ms (1000hz). In the rare case it didn't seem to work, connecting the second port directly to the PC made it work. This setup could not be made default because it stops the KVM from working at all when I switch between computers. I even considered adding a USB power supply and plug the secondary USB port to it. Probably a HUB (even a monitor with built-in hub) is a better idea.
Jul 20, 2022 at 11:40 comment added Tonny @AndréWillikValenti Depends on the exact model of Corsair keyboard. Some use the 2nd usb for power while others use it ONLY as passthrough for the USB port in the keyboard. If the latter it has no electrical connection tintje keyboard itself
