    That i tried earlier, even reapplied thermal paste, change the fan etc. It even has a cooler plate underneath it. It hits 95+ on both cores when I open 5+ applications and fan sounds like a mig21. In idle usage 70-75. Commented May 4, 2021 at 17:25
  • Very good point. I assume that you also cleaned the cooling fins or whatever they are called? Lots of dust in the cooling system is common in older notebooks which will lead to the CPU overheating and throttling.
