1Sounds like you probably have a worn bearing in a fan, try running the fans on their own from the power supply.– spikey_richieCommented Oct 14, 2020 at 10:54

@spikey_richie thank you for your support. It's just weird to me because that noise sounds "mechanical". But I'll check if i can figure out how to run the fans from power supply..– TommyCommented Oct 14, 2020 at 11:05

If changing the energy mode changes the sound then it can be the PSU (or it's fan) as well as the CPU power regulators that are located on the Mainboard next to the CPU. In any way using the high power energy plan is IMHO a bad plan that should not be used. It should be called "power waster". Usually the best mode is "adaptive".– RobertCommented Oct 14, 2020 at 11:13

@Robert Thank you. The issue is that when I have the mode on Balanced, I still here the noise. And I dont want it on energy saver because It's reducing my FPS a lot.– TommyCommented Oct 14, 2020 at 11:19

Please edit your question and add more details info about your Mainboard, PSU and the other components plus their age. If the sound is new it may be just the indicator that you mobo is dying.– RobertCommented Oct 14, 2020 at 11:23

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. windows-7), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
