Aug 19, 2020 at 15:41 comment added anon Just leave BIOS firmware level as it is is what I meant and then remove partitions. Once done and the prime OS is running you should be able to update BIOS and return to normal

What I meant by "removing bios" is I currently have somthing called grub 2 which makes it so that I have to press a button when I start my computer, otherwise it fails to load any os. I mean I want this gone, and return to the normal selection screen (bootloader?)

Aug 19, 2020 at 15:17 comment added anon No need to try to remove BIOS. You need that for any OS. Use a bootable USB key from your main host OS, delete all partitions, and then install the main OS. That should work fine.
