  • The system is less than about month old; and running the most up to date drivers. I did take a look at driver versions and reinstalled the latest versions of them all. The problem continued afterward.

  • Have you considered rolling back to a restore point? Perhaps going back to the beginning (factory defaults) may help. Also, perhaps install different drivers, like maybe older ones? There could be a bug in the driver software. Commented May 21, 2010 at 18:16
