| Feb 10, 2018 at 15:04 | comment | added | Sacha K | I wouldn't use RAID 5 or 6. Do the math, but if I'm not wrong you get a chance of rebuild failure of 16.9% with 5 drives in RAID 6 (so less usable space) and still 21.9% if you add a drive to make it 6 drives in RAID 6. | |
