I figured out the issue on my end. Hope this works for others. Please follow step by step.

Firstly, make sure Cisco is closed (shouldn't even open in the first place (didn't for me)).

  1. Ctrl + Alt + DeletePress (Ctrl+Alt+Delete and select Task Manager)
  2. Services tab - search for 'vpnagent'
  3. 'vpnagent' (Right click this, click "open services")
  4. Search for "Cisco AnyConnet Secure..." and right click the name
  5. Click properties - Under 'General' tab locate "Startup type:"
  6. Change this to "Automatic" (mine was disabled preventing program from working)
  7. Click either 'OK' or 'Apply' - Go back to 'Task Manager - Services tab'
  8. Right click on 'vpnagent' once more, click 'start'. This will begin running the vpnagent.

I hope this had solved your issue reader. God bless, your welcome in advance if it had fixed the issue.

Cheers,

Al Z.
