    Thank you for your detailed response, but I must apologize that I apparently was incorrect in calling the connector on the HDD a SFF-8639. I have edited my post to show that it, in fact, only has 29 pins. However, I have found mixed evidence of what SFF-8482 actually requires, with some references showing 22 pins and some showing 29 pins. I have updated my post to clarify the differences, with photos showing specifically what I've got.
