  • I suspect it is related to your external enclosure and what driver it uses. as far as I know the way it is shown in Windows is correct. My external hard drives all display like that and I've never had problems with reading/writing data.

  • @jiggunjer do you unplug your drive while your computer is on? Or do you only unplug after shut down?

  • I just pull it out while on, like any usb stick, of course I check if I'm not moving any large files at the time.
