WirelessCar aims to lead the digitalization of the automotive industry and make a difference for smart, safe, sustainable mobility. Our engineering teams are at the heart of this journey and deliver new development and operations of cloud-based digital services built on car data. Services that are delivered to many of the largest car makers of the world and more than 10 million cars globally 24/7/365 . They are for example working on smart routing services for electric vehicles, fleet management services, vehicle health services, over-the-air updates, journey intelligence, emergency call services, journey logs, and more.
100% cloud-based and freedom to decide
When you start working at WirelessCar, you choose which operating system you want to use on your laptop: Linux, macOS or Windows. Then you will get to work with one or more of the major cloud-providers to develop services for the customers. When it comes to tech and tools you get to use, we are always attentive to the latest developments, what suits you, and what secures a scalable and stable delivery to our customers. To organize our work at scale we use the SAFe agile framework.
WirelessCar works with modern software development methodologies where teams are empowered to drive the solution forward. The idea is that the team is owning the solution and is the best in deciding what are the best solutions for its services - technology, architecture, etc.
The solutions are 100% cloud-based with Infrastructure as Code, primarily AWS but also other cloud providers, with a CI/CD process that allows for multiple builds, deployments, and releases per day. WirelessCar has central teams managing guardrails and providing guidelines for the cloud environment and information security so that teams can spend as much time as possible on developing and running services according to our customers’ requirements.
