I think it's a great app for playing & learning. My only complaints are: The times in the past when I couldn't connect to the network to play right after an update. But it's a lot better. And it seems that if someone pre-moves when time is running low, it adds a tiny bit of time to their clock after the move completes. Example..I have 5 seconds, opponent has 3. I move and have about 4 seconds left. Opponent has pre-moved and after their move completes, they have between 3 and 4 seconds left.

Please give us the old game review back, or an option to enable the old one. The UI is much larger, I have to look up and down my screen after every move. I liked how in the old design, I could focus on reading the bottom of the screen then analyze the board on the top effortlessly. Now, I cannot read the evaluation and the coach speech at the same time since they overlap. The "modern design" trend I see everywhere is visually displeasing, especially on taller and narrower phone screens.

I usually hate apps that want you to immediately pay for their subscription service, BUT this app is doing it right. There are some things you're locked out of, but the app itself is sooo great, and I will be paying for the subscription. My husband and I can easily play together because it has such a great response time and we're not lagging between our moves when on our individual phones. A family subscription plan would be kind of nice, but that's not the biggest deal either. Very happy!!
