EUGENE, Ore. -- The University of Michigan men's track and field team closed out the 2024 season at the NCAA Outdoor Championships on Friday, June 7.

Zane Forist was the lone Wolverine to compete, finishing 14th in the discus throw with a mark of 57.38m (188-3). The mark is a personal best and the No. 3 mark on the program performers list.

Forist earned second-team All-America honors -- the first of his career -- and improved on his 24th-place finish at the 2023 NCAA Outdoor Championships.
