'House of the Dragon' Season 2, episode 1 has people up in arms. It's not for the reason you think.

Unacceptable.

House of the Dragon Season 2, episode 1 didn't waste any time throwing us back in the deep end, with Helaena Targaryen's prophecy being proven upsettingly true in the final moments.

But if you thought a spot of casual child murder in an HBO series would be the thing everyone on social media would be most enraged about with the return of the Game of Thrones prequel, you'd be wrong! In the ranking of "things that make people very angry", there's only one thing out there that comes above violence towards children on screen — and that's violence towards pets.

Yep, we're talking about the ratcatcher (Mark Stobbart) randomly lashing out at his poor, sweet dog. People were not happy.
