An iPad can be an excellent addition to your tech collection, but they come with a big price tag. Luckily, Cyber Monday iPad deals can act as a major hack for the cost problem.

You might be under the impression that Apple rarely runs any sales (even their Black Friday situation maxes out at a gift card on top of a full-price purchase), and that's true β€” if the only place you buy Apple products is directly from their website. However, if you look to stores like Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, and Target, you'll find that the whole line of products, iPads included, get markdowns regularly, with some of the best deals of the year making an appearance for Cyber Monday.

Below, we're tracking the best iPad deals live through Cyber Monday, as well as any Black Friday deals that may have disappeared already:

Note: All newly added deals are marked with a ✨, while deals with a πŸ”₯ have dropped to an all-time low price. Deals with a strikeout were either sold out or expired at the time of writing.

Best iPad deal

Why we like it

The 2022 iPad comes with an all-screen design, 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display, powerful A14 Bionic chip, superfast WiFi, and four gorgeous colors so you can pick something that really fits your aesthetic. This model delivers a powerful way to create, stay connected, and get all the things on your daily list done. This deal extends your repair coverage and technical support to two years from your AppleCare+ purchase date.

Best budget iPad deal

Why we like it

The 9th generation iPad has dropped to the low price of $249 at Walmart. Though this 2021-era tablet certainly isn't the latest and greatest, it's about $100 cheaper than any other brand new iPad on the market right now (that's including sale prices). The A13 chip and 10.2-inch Retina display will do what you need them to do for basic tasks, like taking notes or streaming video.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you're not shopping at Apple, iPad deals can actually crop up pretty regularly throughout the year. Multiple times this year, the 9th generation iPad has hit $249, the iPad Air $499.99, and the iPad mini $399.99.

With that said, shopping holidays are the time of year when you're most likely to see a greater number of iPads at, or near, their lowest prices. That means Black Friday and Prime Day sales are a great time to buy.

If you're looking at the standard iPad, the newest generation is the 10th generation, which was released in 2022. It runs an A14 Bionic chip. Here's the breakdown for other iPad models:

  • iPad Air: the latest generation is the fifth generation, which was released in early 2022 and runs an M1 chip.

  • iPad mini: the iPad mini is on its sixth generation, which came out in 2021 and runs an A15 Bionic chip.

  • iPad Pro: the 11-inch iPad Pro is on its fourth generation, which launched in Oct. 2022 and houses an M2 chip. The 12.9-inch iPad Pro is on its sixth generation, but also came out in Oct. 2022 and runs an M2 chip.
