Gmail for iOS Gets iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Support

Google has updated its Gmail app for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus to better fit the devices' larger displays.

The iPhone 6 and its big brother have been available for a little more than two weeks now, and though response has been mostly rapturous (barring that supposed bending thing) some early reviews complained about "fuzzy" text when using Gmail due to a zoomed view on the bigger screens.

Here's a look at how Gmail is improved:

It's one more thing struck from the list of potential iPhone 6 complaints, but there doesn't seem to be anything else to this update. Notably, the iPhone 6 Plus doesn't get any kind of "sidebar" in Gmail -- a feature of the regular iOS Mail app in landscape mode.

The Gmail update -- humorously named "Version 3.1415926" after Pi -- is available free over at the Apple iOS store.
